The Ruger American Gen II Patrol Rifle combines the proven Ruger American action with a heavier barrel and practical features designed for accuracy, durability, and easy handling.
The cold hammer-forged bull contour barrel provides added stability and helps reduce felt recoil. It is threaded for muzzle devices and comes with a factory-installed thread protector. The barrel, receiver, bolt handle, and thread protector receive a durable Cerakote finish for added protection against wear and the elements.
Ruger's Power Bedding™ system securely positions the action while free-floating the barrel for consistent accuracy. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable™ trigger provides a crisp pull and can be adjusted between 3 and 5 pounds.
The splatter-finished stock provides a secure grip without feeling overly aggressive. Length of pull can be adjusted from 13.75" down to 12" by removing the installed spacer, while the removable low comb provides proper alignment with magnified optics. Additional spacers and comb options are available separately.
A stainless steel three-lug bolt with a 70° throw provides smooth operation and plenty of clearance for mounted optics. An oversized threaded bolt handle makes the action easy to operate, while the factory-installed Picatinny rail makes mounting an optic straightforward.
