We offer the best birthday parties available anywhere in Winnipeg! How often can your guests shoot at stuff and be glowing in the dark. You get to sit back, relax and enjoy the party! Let us take care of the set up and clean up.
All birthday parties are held in our separate archery range which includes a private eating area for your guests to enjoy their food, cake and presents. The parties are completed in a two-hour slot, which includes time for your cake, food, and presents. We have allotted time slots for Saturdays and Sundays but also offer times during the week if that suits your needs better. An experienced instructor leads the party so you can enjoy yourself! You organize the food/cake/presents and we handle everything archery!
How old can the kids be?
We offer birthday parties for children as young as 6 (turning 7) and hold many adult birthdays as well. Some parents even join in the shooting fun! (For younger siblings etc - we do allow kids younger than 6; but they need to have 1-on-1 supervision if they want to participate)
How many kids can I bring?
The maximum number of guests is sixteen. Our party range has 8 individual shooting spaces so we can comfortably host a party with up to 16 shooters.
We recommend group sizes between 8-12 archers; and strongly suggest that with younger guests you keep the numbers closer to 8 archers. We offer groups of under 8 - but you pay for up to 8 shooters.
We do not charge extra for guests that are not shooting, so feel free to have friends/family stay and enjoy the party! There is additional seating aside from the primary eating area.
Can shooting archery be dangerous?
Fear not! We will be providing an experienced archery instructor to take care of the shooting portion of the party for you. Our instructors put your guests safety at top priority while making sure everyone is having fun and getting the full archery experience. Their job is to provide a safe and fun environment for your guests! The instructor supervises all the archery activities so you can actually enjoy the party!
At our range we do not use toys; they will be shooting real recurve bows and arrows. For some parties, compound bows can be used at an additional cost (depending on the age & number of guests) If a guest is repeatedly not following the rules; they will be asked to sit out for a round. There is only shooting allowed when the instructor is present to ensure everyone's safety.
Who provides the food and cake?
The guests are in charge of food and drinks. You are more than welcome to bring in your own food or have it delivered, there are no restrictions. There are outlets nearby the food table, and we conveniently have many great pizza places near our store and are happy to make recommendations for you.
For our guests that are having food delivered, they usually have it delivered closer to the start of the party. For example, if your party is from 12:30-2:30pm, then we would suggest you have your pizza delivered for around 12:50-1pm. We can recommend a time for your food to be delivered/ready depending on your specific party. Some parties have their food halfway into the party.
In addition to the food/drinks; the guests also provide all utensils, cups, plates tablecloths etc. We only provide the table and chairs for the seating area. Also no restrictions on candles/sparklers. We do not have a freezer on site. We have cans of pop and water bottles on site.
When do you offer birthday parties?
We host parties every day of the week! We have allotted time slots on Saturdays and Sundays but also offer times during the week to fit busy schedules.

How much does an archery birthday party cost?
The base price is $125.00 for the 2-hour party, this includes up to 8 archers. $5 for every additional archer after the first 8, up to a maximum of 16 archers or $165.00. For example, if you have 12 archers the price is $145.00. The cost does not include the 5% GST.
Included in the base price is: shooting range & party room for 2 hours. Instructor for all archery portions and all archery equipment provided. No food/drinks are included.
Please note, we welcome other parents and guests who are not shooting to stay and enjoy the party at no extra cost!
How does the party work? Do we only get 1 hour of archery?
Our staff will organize everything to do with the archery portion - and the guests organzie the eating/presents. There is no limit to shooting time during the party, and you are never restricted to one room or the other. At our location you can be sitting in the eating area; and have a clear view of the archery range. Guests can go back and forth between the areas freely; and the bathrooms are conveniently located adjacent to the party room.
Most parties have between 75 and 90 minutes of shooting, and 30-45 minutes eating/opening presents. Most parties progress in this order: learn to shoot 15-25 minutes, break to eat 15-20 minutes. Back to shooting 30 minutes, cake & presents 15 minutes, glow shooting for last 30 minutes! For guests aged 10 and under, 2 breaks is recommended.
With older guests, you can shoot for 45 minutes - eat/cake/open presents for 30 minutes - shoot for the last 45 minutes. The less time you take to eat directly equals more time shooting! Some guests leave presents to open at home to get more shooting time.
Once all the guests that will be shooting arrive, the instructor will take them onto the range, explain our rules; and offer a short demonstration. Guests will get their hands on some bows and begin shooting! After learning the ropes and how to hit their mark - new targets will be introduced. There will be a break for food, and then return to the range. The guests will go through rounds of shooting 3 arrows each; hitting all sorts of various targets. Included are hanging targets, 3D animals, and balloons. They will then take a break for cake/presents (unless already done during 1st break) and then come back for the glow archery portion! There is no limit to shooting time during the party, the less time you take for eating/opening gifts the more time for shooting.
Is Glow in the Dark an additional cost?
A glow-in-the-dark shooting experience is included with every birthday party! Typically the glow portion is run for the last part of shooting, we try to ensure all parties get a minimum of 30 minutes glow shooting time. Some guests open presents at home or during cake to get more shooting time! There is a bluetooth speaker so bring something to play the guest of honours favorite tunes!
What kind of targets are they shooting?
The target wall is covered with various bullsyes, zombie faces, games and an assortment of animals. During the party, there will also be hanging/moving targets, small 3D animals, and balloons!
We also offer Rinehart 3D animals (full size) at an additional cost if pre-booked. This can not be added when you arrive for the party - so please let us know when booking. Small 3D animals come included in all parties.

If you are having guests that are of varying ages please let us know when booking/confirming so we can have the correct sized equipment prepared.
We do appreciate you calling prior to the pary to confirm numbers.
Please call or email us today if you have any questions! When sending invitations; it is helpful to ask guests to arrive 10 minutes before the actual party so that we can start on time! With late-comers, the instructor has to restate all rules etc and can slow down the party.

We allow 15 minutes of set up/clean up prior to and after the 2 hour party slot. Pushing past these limits can disrupt other bookings and can cause additional charges.
Our range is located in the basement of the Silver Heights Shopping Center, with stairs (no elevator). Address is 2281 Portage Avenue, we have a parking lot & street parking on Mount Royal.
Clothing / Footwear. Oversized clothing can get in the way. We recommend a regular fit top, not overly large/baggy. Hats with brims will need to be taken off or worn backwards. Footwear is required at all times. We recommend comfortable shoes *closed-toed strongly recommended, boots are permitted, but can get too warm. Long hair can be tied back, but not neccesary. We strongly suggest refraining from wearing dangling jewlery, necklaces and earrings especially.
