The First Lite Core Whitetail Jacket is built for the middle of deer season, when frosty mornings, cold winds, and long hours in the stand require more insulation without moving into a heavy late-season system.
The jacket uses 80gsm PrimaLoft Gold insulation through the body and 60gsm through the sleeves, providing additional warmth around your core while reducing bulk through the arms. Windproof construction helps cut cold wind while sitting exposed in a tree stand, and a micro-fleece interior adds warmth and comfort without creating unnecessary noise.
For bowhunters, First Lite uses a contoured archery collar to reduce interference around the neck and face. The hood can also be completely removed when you want less material around your anchor point.
The Core Jacket is designed around the equipment commonly worn by whitetail hunters. Lateral-access chest pockets remain accessible while wearing a bino harness, while a dedicated pass-through accommodates a safety harness.
First Lite's KITLINK magnetic pass-through system also allows the jacket to integrate with the Core Bib and Core Vest. When worn with the Core Bib, you can reach through the jacket and directly into the bib's fleece-lined hand warmer muff without opening or rearranging your outer layers.
With a recommended temperature range of 20°F to 45°F (-7°C to 7°C), the Core Jacket is particularly well suited to the conditions Canadian whitetail hunters often encounter from late October through November.
The Core Jacket can be worn by itself or combined with the First Lite Core Vest and Core Bib.
First Lite's magnetic KITLINK system creates pass-through access between compatible pieces. When paired with the Core Bib, the jacket's KITLINK port provides direct access to the bib's fleece-lined hand warmer muff, helping you keep your hands warm without having to reach underneath your jacket.
